Galatians 6:1-5
Bear and Share the Burdens
1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For each one shall bear his own load.
We can Fall from Grace
Galatians 5:4
4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
We can bear the burden of those that have fallen by restoring them to Christ. That is our responsibility.
Three things that we need to remember when we are trying to help stop their erring and help them be restored to their FIRST LOVE, Christ:
1) Remember what we are doing, trying to rescue them “from the lion’s mouth.”
2) Remember that the enemy is the devil (Satan), the roaring lion, not the fallen brother or sister.
3) Remember we do this because of our Love for GOD and for the fallen brother or sister; Love covers a multitude of sins.
